Dalescraft were a premium brand producing top quality pieces in the 1950s and early 60s . Their designer Malcolm D Walker was influenced by contemporary Danish pieces . Dalescraft used really good solid teak in their pieces , unlike most British companies and many Danish ones who used veneers .
Its only 133cms x 90cms when closed , and the leaf adds a further 61cms .
